Based in West London, Purple Wine Productions is a creative production company specialising in documentary filmmaking, visual storytelling and socially engaged content. Originally established to explore the rapidly changing world of wine, our work has evolved to tell stories that inspire conversation, raise awareness and encourage positive change.

Through films, documentaries and creative campaigns, we explore subjects including sustainability, climate change, technology, inclusivity and the people behind the stories. Following founder Federica’s breast cancer diagnosis, Purple Wine Productions has expanded its creative vision to develop projects that use storytelling to raise awareness of health and wellbeing, with a particular focus on breast cancer, early detection and resilience. We believe creativity has the power to communicate difficult subjects in ways that are accessible, memorable and deeply human.

Purple Wine Productions was founded in 2017 by Federica Zanghirella, filmmaker, screenwriter and Vice President of the UK Sommelier Association. Drawing on more than twenty years' experience in filmmaking, creative direction and visual communication, alongside extensive knowledge of the international wine industry, Federica leads an experienced network of collaborators across film, documentary and digital media.

Today, Purple Wine Productions is developing original documentaries, films and cross media storytelling projects that combine artistic creativity with social impact. We are actively seeking partners, broadcasters, producers and funders who share our ambition to create meaningful stories that inform, inspire and make a difference.
